I once started to write a small FAQ for my old website but never managed to finish it. A couple of weeks ago I found the text again while digging through some backups and decided to finally finish it. It’s not really much but I think it covers the basics. Somehow I was hoping that there would be a bit more time between the last update of my priceguide from only two days ago and the rest of the prices becoming available to the public. This was not the case. All the prices for the new 2008 models that were missing in my last update surfaced yesterday, so I did a quick update of my list in order that anyone who downloads it will have the latest news included, rather than having a lot of blank fields.

This version now also includes the price-info of this year’s upcoming sprint-runs. I’ve noticed that there is still info missing about some models that were expected to hit the market this year (black Lum, Rocklobster, Leafstorm,…). I’ll add that info as soon as it becomes available.

I’ve also updated the list for the Byrd models and even added a Spyderco model that was missing until now. Now there are about 400 variations of Spyderco knives covered with this list. Enjoy it!

After updating my priceguide with new data yesterday, I managed to do the same to my “History of the C28 Dragonfly”. I’ve added the changes of this model to the article and also updated the PDF which shows all variations and changes of the model over the years. Since Spyderco has just released the catalog for 2008 I’ve updated the priceguide with the new info. I’ve also added the MSRP’s of all Byrd models that were released until today. I’ll update the list again as soon as I have more info about the prices of the models that are in the new catalog but haven’t been released yet.
