about
Spyderbug.com? What on earth is a spyderbug? Well, Spyderco – a well known manufacturer of pocket knives – uses a small spider as their logo. This little spider is often referred to as “the bug” or “spyderbug” on various online forums dedicated to (Spyderco) knives. Lots of people who find themselves buying more and more Spyderco knives after they got their first, also say that they were “bitten by the bug”. I thought that a domain name which resembles a colloquial term for Spyderco’s logo would be quite fitting for my site.
As you might have guessed by now, this is a fansite for Spyderco knives. You can find pictures of my collection on this page aswell as a couple of reviews. Before anyone asks: What I write in my reviews are my thoughts on certain models based on my experience. If there is something negative to tell about a knife I can and will write it. I do not get paid for making this page and I also do not get any knives as samples. The main purpose of this little site is information and entertainment – information for those who look for facts about a special model and entertainment for those who already enjoy collecting Spyderco knives.
Because I made this site for you, dear visitor, I highly appreciate any comments about it – either good or negative. If you want to give me any suggestions to make this site better or if you want to give me some critics, do not hesitate to contact me either by posting here on the site or sending me an email.
If you want to tell me that there are not enough reviews on this site, I’ll have to agree but please check this page from time to time as I am planning to write more reviews in the near future. I’ll try my best to update the site as often as I can! If you want to be kept up to date with my new pictures, reviews, etc. please use the possibility of my RSS-feed. I’ll post a message whenever there is an update on my page. There is also the possibility to get all the comments that were left on posts via RSS for those who are interested what my visitors have to say.
Recently I changed to the newest version of the theme that I was using for this page during past 2 years. Among other new things you now have the possibility to share content from my page on Facebook, Twitter and MySpace, or you can add the page/article to your Google Bookmarks. Depending on the traffic statistics for my site I might add links to other services aswell in the future.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your stay here at spyderbug.com!
Cheers, Rob
